Why Modular?

Whether you choose a pre-existing plan or a custom modular home, the quality of construction and completion will be top-grade, and your finished home will inspire pride now and for many years to come.

1. speedy turnaround

On the average, a home consisting of two sections will be build in the factory within a couple of weeks.  Once your home is placed on its foundation, final completion takes on average just a few months.  This schedule allows you to move more quickly, and knowing when your new home will be ready helps you plan your move better.

2. the best value for your money

Modular homes are built in factories and benefit from the assembly line production process,.  The factories buy huge quantities of lumber, sheet rock, carpet, paint, etc., they pay much less for each and can have large quantities delivered at one time.  Labor is used with maximum efficiency, with skilled craftsman moving between workstations on the factory floor.

3. The highest quality

Modular homes are built in a modern controlled environment, and they are precision engineered for a lifetime of trouble-free structural durability.  Quality control is maintained by constant inspection throughout the construction process. A site-built house open to the rain can cause your wood to warp or swell... problems you'll never get rid of in a lifetime of ownership.  Modular houses are built in controlled environments under the factory roof and are shipped in weather-proofed wrapping.

To ensure a safe and secure trip to your property, modular homes are built especially well, using high quality materials. There is typically 20% to 30% more lumber used in building your modular home vs. that of a site built one.

4. greater energy efficiency

Precision building techniques combined with the modular process make it possible to achieve the highest level of energy efficiency, something that could never be accomplished when building on site.

5. lower home ownership cost

Repair bills can really add up.   Modular homes are built in a modern controlled environment using high quality materials.  They are precision engineered for a lifetime of trouble-free structural durability.  A well-built house is a home that is easier and less costly to maintain.

MY NEW HOME... I am so glad I found your company! When you consider that I was a senior woman- I can’t say enough for what you did for me. When I think back, I just told you and your Dad what I wanted (especially the placement of my back door ) and the split bedroom design. I never thought where I would place my washing machine but you did. Also you thought about lowering my cabinets a little bit because I am only 5’1. If I had any friends with an empty lot and wanted a house I would recommend G & G Associates immediately.

We started talking to Chris at G & G Associates a couple of years before we were ready to build. Even though he knew we were not ready to build at that moment, Chris always took the time to talk with us. He was always helpful and friendly. There was never a time when we wasn’t there and ready to answer any of our questions and offer advice. We felt comfortable with him.

When we were finally ready to start building, he spent a lot of time with us giving us options so that we could get the most house possible for the budget we had. He knew what was important to us and listened to our needs. He was great with offering advice and making suggestions.

There were no surprises on price with Chris. We knew exactly what it would cost to build our house before we even started. If there were any changes along the way, he was sure to discuss it with us first.

Once we started building our house, we had some “bumps in the road” that were not in Chris’ control. Chris was very patient and always looked out for our best interest. He was reassuring and always communicated to us what was going on. He would not accept any work that he would not have in his own house, so he made sure that everything looked the way he wanted it to look and wouldn’t accept anything less. Even after we moved into our house, Chris was still in contact with us, making sure everything was OK.

From the first phone call to after our house was completed, Chris was there and always answered all of our questions. Nothing was too much trouble. Chris never gave up on us, even when we started to give up. He was determined to help us get what we wanted. Chris ended up being not only our builder, but our friend and part of our family.
